In March, 2023, the third publicity event of the project "Healthier and Safer Youth Life" took place in Birzai district municipality. The purpose of the event is to introduce the activities and results of the project, spread information about youth-friendly health care services, provide participants with information about solving youth health problems guided by 8 algorithms: Suicides and self-harm; Health disorders related to overweight and obesity; Sexually transmitted infections and unplanned pregnancy; Use of psychoactive substances; Alcohol consumption; Depression; Sexual violence; Eating disorder. The event was hosted by Gintare Razuleviciute. 48 participants took part in the event. Project publicity paraphernalia was distributed to the participants of the event.

YOUTH FRIENDLY HEALTHCARE PUBLICITY EVENT

On March 10, 2023, the summative publicity event of the project "Healthier and Safer Youth Life" (No. LT03-1-SAM-K01-011) took place at Kedainiai vocational training center. The purpose of the event is to spread information about the activities of the coordination center for youth-friendly health care services, present information about the project implementation progress, achievements and results. The publicity event was led by lecturer Gintare Razuleviciute. During the event, the services provided by the Coordination Center for Youth-friendly Health Care Services using universal education methods and their practical implementation were presented. International practice was presented. Using stress management strategies, emotional balance education, SMART, WORLD CAFE and other methods and principles of techniques, eight algorithms for youth prevention were discussed. PRACTICAL SEMINARS FOR JPSPP INSTITUTIONS WORKING WITH YOUTH

In January, 2023, in public health bureau of Kedainiai Distric Municipality training of 16 hours "Practical seminars for JPSPP institutions working with youth" has been started to conduct while implementing the project “Healthier and Safer Youth Life (No. LT03-1-SAM-K01-011). These organized trainings consist of two face-to-face and two remote seminars. Two contact seminars have already taken place. In these seminars participated group of 14 people made up of variuos institutions working with youth in Kedainiai district municipality. On January 17, 2023, the group listened to a 4-hour program on topic such as strengthening mental health of youth, mental disorders, including prevention of addictive diseases. In cooperation with Public Health Bureaus of Birzai and Anyksciai District Municipalities, the project “Healthier and Safer Youth Life” is being implemented, project no. LT03-1-SAM-K01-011. The project aims to reduce and prevent youth health inequalities in three municipalities. On June 27, 2022, a meeting  of specialists of Birzai District Municipality Public Health Bureau and Kedainiai District Municipality Public Health Bureau was organized in order to improve dissemination of information and sharing of good practice about the ongoing project. During the meeting, coordinators of the project presented the ongoing activities with youth, shared information about the completed stationary camps and discussed successful experiences. In 2022 April - June Biržai, Kėdainiai, Anykščiai Adolescence is a period of great challenges when you have to adapt to changes in yourself, your family and your peer group. In the current education system, students constantly experience various challenges. According to the World Health Organization, one in five adolescents have cognitive, emotional and behavioral difficulties, and one in eight adolescents suffer from a diagnosed mental disorder. The most effective way to take care of the health of adolescents is to implement and develop preventive programs in schools, where adolescents spend most of their time. Educational event-camp in Anyksciai district

On June 3-5, 2022, another educational event-camp took place in Anyksciai district. Youth aged 14-17 from Anyksciai, Birzai and Kedainiai district municipalities participated in the event. During the camp youth took part in various practical-theoretical activities. Young peolpe improved their knowledge on health enhancing and saving topics such as sexuality education, mental health promotion, suicide prevention, healthy eating, self-knowledge and team building. Theoretical knowledge was enhanced by practical activities and skills development in the form of games, drawing therapy, snacks preparation, team and individual tasks. The camp was implemented within the framework of the project “Healthier and Safer Youth Life”, no. LT03-1-SAM-K01-011. The project is funded by the European Economic Area Financial Mechanism.

In May and April, 2022, the second publicity events of the project “Healthier and Safer Youth Life” took place in Anyksciai, Birzai and Kedainiai district municipalities. The aim of these events was to present the goals, objectives and intended impact of the project, to acquaint participants with 8 algorithms for solving youth health problems: Suicide and self-harm;Health disorders related to overweight and obesity;Sexually transmitted infections and unplanned pregnancies;Use of psychoactive substances;Alcohol consumption;Depression;Sexual violence;Eating disorder. The events were conducted by Gintare Razuleviciute and Monika Bardzilauskaite. The events were attended by 87 participants. The publicity attributes of the project were shared to all participants of the event.
