Educational event-camp in Anyksciai district

On June 3-5, 2022, another educational event-camp took place in Anyksciai district. Youth aged 14-17 from Anyksciai, Birzai and Kedainiai district municipalities participated in the event. During the camp youth took part in various practical-theoretical activities. Young peolpe improved their knowledge on health enhancing and saving topics such as sexuality education, mental health promotion, suicide prevention, healthy eating, self-knowledge and team building. Theoretical knowledge was enhanced by practical activities and skills development in the form of games, drawing therapy, snacks preparation, team and individual tasks. The camp was implemented within the framework of the project “Healthier and Safer Youth Life”, no. LT03-1-SAM-K01-011. The project is funded by the European Economic Area Financial Mechanism.

Publicity events of the project “Healthier and Safer Youth Life”

In May and April, 2022, the second publicity events of the project “Healthier and Safer Youth Life” took place in Anyksciai, Birzai and Kedainiai district municipalities. The aim of these events was to present the goals, objectives and intended impact of the project, to acquaint participants with 8 algorithms for solving youth health problems: Suicide and self-harm;Health disorders related to overweight and obesity;Sexually transmitted infections and unplanned pregnancies;Use of psychoactive substances;Alcohol consumption;Depression;Sexual violence;Eating disorder. The events were conducted by Gintare Razuleviciute and Monika Bardzilauskaite. The events were attended by 87 participants. The publicity attributes of the project were shared to all participants of the event.

The second JPSPP training camp for youth

On May 20-22, 2022, youth from Anyksciai, Birzai ir Kedainiai gathered in Anyksciai district homestead “Svajoniu dvaras” where a three-day youth camp was held. 30 young people participated in the camp. In the camp theoretical and practical activities were held to solve the most relevant youth problems, team activities, physical activity was encouraged, emotional health was strengthened and a healthy lifestyle was promoted. The youth tried Nordic walking, made healthy snacks, played basketball, watched preventive films, played mindfight game, went on a sensory confidence walk. Various activities were held to improve knowledge: ways to reduce stress and depression, stereotypes in our life, relationships, teamwork, self-confidence, empathy, achieving goals every day, and sustainability was also emphasized during the camp. On May 20-22, 2022, a health camp was held in Anyksciai district. Youth of 14-15 years old from Anyksciai, Birzai and Kedainiai district municipalities participated in the camp. The camp took place in Anyksciai district, in the homestead “Svajoniu dvaras”. The youth actively took part in activities on various topics for 3 days – prevention of psychoactive substance use, physical activity promotion activities, health movies review, health-promoting diet activities, active games, prevention of stress and depression. The camp is being implemented under the project “Healthier and Safer Youth Life”, no. LT03-1-SAM-K01-011 (the project is funded by the European Economic Area Financial Mechanism). Seminars for JPSPP coordinators and cooperating institutions

From April, 2022, training for JPSPP coordinators and sprecialists of cooperating institutions has started. 5 groups have already participated in this traning, there were 12 people in each group. Each group listened to the 16 hour program on the topics listed below: 1.     Most relevant health problems of youth; 2.     Case management and interagency cooperation; 3.     Contact technique, active listening and communication with youth, motivation for change; 4.     Prevention and strengthening of mental health. The training is conducted by Arturas Einikis, Vitalija Mockiene, Karolina Puzinaite, Evelina Vainoriene. It is planned that at least 108 specialists working with youth from Anyksciai, Kedainiai and Birzai municipalities will take part in the training during the whole project period.

An overview of training for young people in 2022 January - March In the schools of Biržai, Kėdainiai and Anykščiai districts, youth training on preventive topics took place intensively.
